Thanks to all the experts and participants in the 3rd in our TALK series, "get the buzz on teen partying."   The discussion was very informative and it was great to have the teens spontaneously spur discussion and lead much of the Talk.

One take away from the evening is how impactful real life experiences and stories can be.  How teens can learn from others and hopefully avoid negative experiences themselves.  As a community we can offer more of these teachable moments the teens have found to be so powerful.  Teens expressed the impact of the mock teen car crash, criminal drug addicts telling their stories, and other teens sharing their personal misadventures.

The very well spoken and candid teens shared their personal stories and continually reminded us that the most effective prevention is open communication from parents, teachers, and friends.

Remember today is a great day to TALK about what is going on!
